Backyard Party | San Diego | July 2026

Our team recently catered a 50-guest backyard party in San Diego using our Interactive On-Site Taco Catering service. Before the celebration, the host selected our Hummingbirds & Flowers Custom Taco Cart, one of several exclusive cart styles every LaLa Tacos client is invited to choose from to match their event, venue, or celebration.

For this event, the host selected our Chef's Selection, one of our elite taco catering menus created for hosts who want to impress their guests with top-tier proteins and a fully loaded taco bar. Guests enjoyed flash-seared ribeye steak, 8-hour slow-cooked carnitas, grilled shrimp, adobo chicken, and organic grilled vegetables, along with fresh guacamole and chips, house-made salsas, pico de gallo, cilantro jalapeño crema, rice, beans, and all the fresh toppings.

Before setting up, our team placed protective service mats beneath our equipment to help protect the client's concrete driveway. We completed setup early and began serving exactly on schedule. One guest came back for another helping, smiled, and laughed, "Awesome ribeye tacos. I think I've had seven already!" Moments like that remind us why we love what we do. Throughout the evening, our team kept the taco bar fully stocked, and according to our staff, the host was very happy with the food, presentation, and service.
